Cranlea Douglas Bag Systems
The traditional way of measuring Oxygen Uptake has been to use Douglas Bags. However, difficulty in being able to mate the various components and avoiding leaks has always been a problem.
For many years, the Cranlea Douglas bag system has been a staple part in University laboratories, with our very own custom-built frames. Each Douglas Bag System is supplied with Hans Rudolph valves and stopcocks, widely regarded as the Gold Standard in respiratory accessories, giving you a high quality, leak free, easy to use solution.
There are two Cranlea Douglas Bag Systems available:
Douglas Bag Collection System
- Black, Steel frame to support 4 Douglas Bags
- 1 x Hans Rudolph 2700 Non-Rebreathing Valve
- 4 x Hans Rudolph 2100C Stopcock
- 3 x Mouthpieces and noseclips
- 2 x 4-Way Ramp Stopcock
- 4 x 100L Douglas Bag
- Breathing and Sampling Tube.
Douglas Bag Analysis System
- Black, Steel frame to support 4 Douglas Bags
- 1 x Hans Rudolph 2700 Non-Rebreathing Valve
- 4 x Hans Rudolph 2100C Stopcock
- 3 x Mouthpieces and noseclips
- 2 x 4-Way Ramp Stopcock
- 4 x 100L Douglas Bag
- 1 x Breathing and Sampling Tube.
- 1 x Harvard Digital Dry Gas Meter
- 1 x Temperature Monitor
- 1 x Douglas Bag Extraction Unit
- 1 x Drying Tube
- 1 x Drierite
In addition, systems can be supplied with alternative breathing valves, mouthpieces, noseclips and bigger Douglas Bags upon request. Should you require a desktop Gas Analyser, we can also provide this.
