Included in the Cortex Service Kit is:

• 1x O2 Sensor

The Oxygen analyser within your Cortex MetaLyzer will expire every 18 months, and every six month within a Cortex Metamax, regardless of use and must be replaced with a new one. We recommend leaving the new sensor in a normal environment for a few hours before mounting to the device.

• 1x Sample Line

The Sample line of a Cortex device does the important job of transporting the gas sample from the mouth to the analyser. Not only this, it also aims to reduce moisture in the gas sample too. Over time, the Nafion section of the tube (textured part) will slightly discolour, this is normal and is caused by exposure to UV light.

• 1x Disposable Turbines (Box of 120)

The disposable turbine option was established in 2019 whilst we were in a pandemic, as an option to carry out CPET testing with minimal risk. This option can give users a faster turnaround time for back-to-back testing, and can be a more cost-effective solution depending on the user’s requirements.

• 1x Mask Adapter for Disposable Turbines

This adapter connects directly to the Hans Rudolph 7450 Mask. The adapter allows users to connect the disposable turbine to the Hans Rudolph 7450 Mask.

• 1x Small Hans Rudolph 7450 Mask

• 1x Medium Hans Rudolph 7450 Mask

Moulded of BLUE silicone rubber, the Hans Rudolph 7450 Mask is anatomically shaped design aids in a leak free, comfortable fit. The Hans Rudolph 7450 Mask is to be used with the new five strap adjustable 

headgear design.
