Who are Lode?

Lode is world renowned as a manufacturer of high quality ergometers and the Lode brand stands for accuracy, durability and ergonomic design. The Lode product range varies from bicycle ergometers and treadmills to recumbent, arm and supine ergometers and ergometry software.

Before leaving the factory all Lode ergometers are dynamically calibrated and, of course, all units are produced under the strictest quality control conditions. Lode is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 certified and fulfils the EU Medical Device Directive MDD 93/42/EEC. Many Lode products are FDA registered. Over years of use, service costs are almost negligible.

At the heart of the Lode Body Weight Support System XL lies its Versatile Multi-Spring Adjustability (VSMA), a feature that truly sets it apart. The VSMA allows for the typical movement of the body’s centre of gravity due to its springy behaviour, making it possible for the patient to stay as close as possible to normal walking despite the support.

The VSMA feature provides healthcare professionals with the flexibility they need to tailor the level of assistance precisely to each individual’s requirements, making it a versatile and invaluable tool in the field of rehabilitation.

Unrestricted mobility

The Lode Body Weight Support System XL is engineered to ensure that the individual can navigate and exercise without any hindrance or obstruction from the support apparatus. The absence of constraints empowers patients to engage in natural movements, facilitating a more authentic rehabilitation experience. This is also facilitated by the fact that the movement of the centre of gravity remains possible, ensuring freedom of movement.

Comfortable harness

The Lode Body Weight Support System XL is supplied with medium sized harness. The harnesses have specifically designed for Lode with patient comfortable in mind. The patient will not be restricted, enabling comfortable rehabilitation through body weight support.

Harnesses sizing:

Small – 71 cm (27.95 inch) to 86 cm (33.86 inch)

Medium – 86 cm (33.86 inch) to 112 cm (44.09 inch)

Large – 112 cm (44.09 inch) to 140 cm (55.12 inch)

Room dimensions

This system is suitable for treadmills with a maximum walking surface width of 110 cm and require a minimum ceiling height of 2.5 meters.

Optional Extras

Operator chairs

A pair of movable and rotatable chairs to optimise therapist sitting position each side of the treadmill, allowing for the therapist to support the patient optimally from an ergonomic position.

Handrails

Adjustable both in width and in height, the optional side handrails for the Lode Body Weight Support System XL allow for optimum patient support and safety without obstructing the therapist.

Extended Height Adjustment

The extended height of the Body weight support system XL is available for either 18 or 36 cm. Extending the capability of the system for taller patients. For facilities with taller ceilings (>250cm), the option to order height adjustment components is available, allowing for the accommodation of taller patients (those exceeding 215 cm in height). These adjustments can raise the system’s height by an additional 18 cm, ensuring adaptability across various clinical settings.

Just be mindful that the height of the ceiling is enough to take the additional height.

Warranty

All Lode products are manufactured with precision to ensure reliability in all applications.

The Lode Body Weight Support System XL has a 12 months parts and labour warranty. Extended warranty is available for an additional 4 years (5 in total). Contact our service team here.
