What makes a Lode Treadmill?
Lode treadmills are designed to be used safely in a Sport and Medical environment. They can be used as a stand-alone device or they can be controlled by external ECG- or Cardiopulmonary equipment.
The speed and incline of the treadmill can be adjusted in small increments (0.1 km/h or %) according to the user’s specific needs and the test protocol. Lode treadmills can be accessed easily by all patient groups due to their low step height and the low motor cover allows for an unimpeded view of the users gait.
All treadmills come standard with an emergency stop button and lanyard to offer optimal safety.
High Standards
Lode is a socially and environmentally responsible company. All Lode products are RoHS/WEE compliant and Lode is ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016 certified. All medical products comply to MDD 93/42/EEC, incl. IEC 60601-1.
Patient friendly – Lode Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill
The Lode Valiant 2 Rehab is compact treadmill with a belt size of 150cm x 50cm and elevation range of 0 – 25%, capable in a variety of applications. The treadmill is equipped with a 7″ user-friendly control unit featuring a responsive touchscreen interface, streamlining manual control for seamless adjustments. This intuitive interface not only enhances user experience but also ensures precise control over settings, allowing tailored modifications to suit individual needs.
Such intuitive and responsive control simplifies the manual adjustment process, enabling precise changes to speed and incline. This level of control empowers rehabilitation professionals to finely tailor the treadmill’s settings to the unique requirements of each patient.
Easy to Clean
All surfaces on the Lode Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill are easily wipeable thanks to their gloss finish. Use a lightly moistened cloth with a non-abrasive, soap or disinfectant. Cleaning agents containing alcohol or caustic components may damage and/or discolour surfaces.
Harmonious integration with Lode’s software solutions
The Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill integrates with Lode’s software solutions: LEM (Lode Ergometry Manager), LRM (Lode Rehab Manager), and LCRM (Lode Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager). With this integration, medical practitioners are empowered with a comprehensive ecosystem for data management and analysis.
With seamless communication with the LEM, the Lode Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill enables real-time synchronisation with crucial patient metrics such as heart rate and performance data. This automated exchange mitigates the risk of manual errors and accelerates the data collection process, allowing practitioners to concentrate on accurate assessments and informed decision-making.
The Lode Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill’s integration with LRM amplifies the efficiency of rehabilitation programs. Professionals can seamlessly create and modify exercise protocols within the LRM software, tailoring them precisely to each patient’s needs. These personalised regimens are then effortlessly transmitted to the treadmill, streamlining workout execution and progress tracking. This synergy between software and hardware optimises time spent on patient care and minimises administrative burdens.
Incorporating LCRM into the mix, the Lode Valiant 2 Rehab extends its capabilities to cardiac rehabilitation scenarios. The software-treadmill synergy enables medical experts to manage patient recovery by designing specialised exercise routines that prioritise cardiovascular health. By providing a direct channel to monitor and adjust exercise intensity, the Lode Valiant 2 Rehab in conjunction with LCRM ensures a targeted approach to cardiac rehabilitation.
In essence, the compatibility with LEM, LRM, and LCRM transforms the Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill into an indispensable tool in the medical professional’s arsenal. It simplifies data handling, personalises rehabilitation programs, and fosters precise cardiac rehabilitation, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and patient outcomes.

The 7″ Colour Touchscreen is available in two models, Standard and Programmable. Both models of 7″ touchscreens further enhance the capability of the Lode Valiant 2 Rehab by allowing manual control of the speed and elevation of the treadmill. The below parameters can be visualised on the 7″ Touchscreen display:
- Actual and target inclination
- Actual and target speed
- Distance
- Time
- Energy
- Mode
- Heart Rate (If purchased separately)
- Blood Pressure (If purchased separately)
- SpO2 (If purchased separately)

7″ Programmable Touchscreen Control Unit
The 7″ Programmable Touchscreen Control Unit enables testing and training on Lode devices with a controlled change in workload during exercise with the use of protocols. Protocols manage the speed and inclination of the Lode Valiant 2 Rehab Treadmill during exercise in; steps, ramps or even a heart rate controlled function without having to change this manually during exercise.
Defining the protocols beforehand not only provides a controlled workload, but also gives room to focus on the test subjects during exercise. Up to 50 protocols can be programmed.
Treadmill Protocols built into 7″ Programmable Control Unit:
Balke Treadmill protocol, Balke modified Treadmill protocol, Bruce Treadmill Protocol, Bruce (Mod) Treadmill protocol, Bruce (pediatric) Treadmill Protocol, Chung Treadmill protocol, Chung (LL) Treadmill protocol, Claudicationet Treadmill protocol, Ellestad Treadmill protocol and Naughton Treadmill protocol.
3.5″ Colour second screen
The 3.5″ Colour second screen is used to display information to the test subject on the treadmill, such as:
- Speed
- Elevation
- Test time
- Heart rate(when available)
