Easy controls
The Lode Valiant Ultra 300 Treadmill is equipped with a Programmable 7″ Touchscreen Control Unit, allowing for quick and easy adjust of speed and elevation. The programmable function allows for test protocols to be created, saved and recalled in an easy process. In addition to this, the Lode Valiant Ultra 300 can be controlled by external ECG or Pulmonary devices and Lode’s own Software, Lode Ergometry Manager (LEM).
Built with maximum safety in mind
The Lode Valiant Ultra 300 treadmill is a large, high speed treadmill and as such requires safety features built in from the get go. This is why we provide every Lode Valiant Ultra series treadmill with a safety arch as standard, to give the user absolute confidence that they are safe to work at their maximum capacity.
What makes a Lode Treadmill?
Lode treadmills are designed to be used safely in a Sport and Medical environment. They can be used as a stand-alone device or they can be controlled by external ECG- or Cardiopulmonary equipment.
The speed and incline of the treadmill can be adjusted in small increments (0.1 km/h or %) according to the user’s specific needs and the test protocol. Lode treadmills can be accessed easily by all patient groups due to their low step height and the low motor cover allows for an unimpeded view of the users gait.
All treadmills come standard with an emergency stop button and lanyard to offer optimal safety.

Lode Valiant Ultra 300 – For serious Treadmill Testing
The Lode Valiant Ultra 300 is a spacious treadmill and has a belt size of 300cm x 200cm, uniquely designed to cater to a variety of sport applications. With a top speed of 40 km/h and featuring an elevation range of +25% to -25% it is easy to see the versatility that the Lode Valiant Ultra 300 brings.
The treadmill is supplied with a 7″ programmable control unit and features integrated safety mechanisms, including a fall stop safety gantry, emergency stop button and safety lanyard.
The functionality of this treadmill can be enhanced considerably by using it with the Lode Ergometry Manager Software.
Smooth acceleration with small adjustment steps
All Lode treadmills have a smooth acceleration from 0 km/h and can be adjusted in 0.1 km/h or % increments.

7″ Programmable Touchscreen Control Unit (Supplied as standard)
The 7″ Colour Programmable Touchscreen allow manual control of the speed and elevation of the Lode Valiant Ultra 300 treadmill. The below parameters can be visualised on the 7″ Touchscreen display:

The 7″ Programmable Touchscreen Control Unit enables testing and training on Lode devices with a controlled change in workload during exercise with the use of protocols. Protocols manage the speed and inclination of the Lode Valiant Ultra 300Treadmill during exercise in; steps, ramps or even a heart rate controlled function without having to change this manually during exercise.
Defining the protocols beforehand not only provides a controlled workload, but also gives room to focus on the test subjects during exercise. Up to 50 protocols can be programmed.

Lode Valiant Ultra 300 performance options
Wheelchair support for Valiant Ultra
The wheelchair support allows for safe use of a wheelchair on the Lode Valiant Ultra 300. The wheelchair support attaches to the two uprights of the handrail and provides stability and support to a wheelchair via a connection bar. The wheelchair support frame allows for some front – rear movement on the treadmill, enabling the wheelchair user the ability to match the belt speed in a natural way but without the risk of falling off.
Adjustable Acceleration & Deceleration rate
This option makes it possible to adjust the speed of the acceleration (and deceleration) for the Lode Valiant Ultra 300 treadmill. The standard acceleration is set to 6 seconds per 10 km. The adjustable acceleration and deceleration option allows you to set the value between 3 and 24 seconds per 10 km.
Blood Pressure
The blood pressure monitor is designed for blood pressure measurements during physical activity. Thanks to mechanical and electrical filtering, the BP readings remain reliable even during high load exercise tests. For both stress and resting BP reading, the original auscultatory Korotkov / Riva-Rocci method is used.
With a built-in speaker, original Korotkoff sounds are clearly reproduced. An ECG trigger is not needed for reliable BP readings, although it is available if desired. Measurement time is very short (usually within 30 seconds) thanks to the rapid cuff inflation.
The blood pressure monitor can be used in 2 ways: Fully integrated control by all common ECG or CPET devices or as a stand alone device with automatic interval measurements.
Various Cuff sizes are available. The cuff is completely washable, thanks to the removeable microphone and inflation bag. Replacement cuffs are available in various sizes.
Heart Rate
This option gives the heart rate in beats per minute on the control unit and offers the possibility of heart rate controlled testing or exercising. The heart rate can be received up to 10 meters away without interference by wearing a chestrap.
Remote Control for treadmill
A remote control for Lode treadmills. It allows the control of speed and elevation without the need to touch the display.
LEM 10 to suit your needs
The Lode Ergometry Manager (LEM) is a software package used for controlling Lode ergometers and treadmills.
Easily create and edit protocols
The software enables the operator to program protocols, visualise, save, analyse treadmill data and print customised reports in PDF. Commonly used treadmill protocols are pre programmed as standard.
LEM provides a patient database and the possibility to connect to a SQL server or the Hospital Information System (HIS) with HL7 should this be required. LEM 10 is also backwards compatible with previous versions, allowing you import and use your existing database easily.

Data Analysis and Reporting
LEM enables the simultaneous analysis of one or more tests, offering both predefined and customisable views. Access graphical and statistical data within the analysis view, and include comments related to test observations, all of which can be saved within LEM and exported. LEM features comprehensive PDF reports based on the data derived from the analysis view. Reports can be personalised by incorporating your institute’s logo.

Service and Warranty
All Lode products are manufactured with precision to ensure reliability in all applications.
Lode treadmills are almost maintenance free, due to the unique impregnated belt, no belt-greasing and no bearing-greasing are required. The belt is centred automatically without the need for additional adjustment.
Cranlea offer a comprehensive annual maintenance service, checking the running and electrical parts of the treadmill whilst calibrating the speed. It is recommended that an annual service is carried out.
The Lode Valiant Ultra 300 has a 12 months parts and labour warranty. Extended warranty is available for an additional 4 years (5 in total). Contact our service team here.
