StatStrip Lactate Test Strips (Box of 50)
StatStrip Lactate Test Strips are intended for use only with Nova StatStrip Express 2 Lactate, Haemoglobin and Haematocrit Hospital Meter System. For quantitative determination of Lactate in fresh whole blood capillary, venous, and arterial specimens. The Test Strip is designed with an electrode that measures Lactate levels. Lactate in the blood sample mixes with reagent on the test strip that produces and electric current. The amount of current that is produced depends on how much lactate is in the blood.
The Nova StatStrip Lactate, Haemoglobin and Haematocrit Hospital Meter System is the first FDA clearance of a device specifically indicated for use in all types of hospital patients, including critically ill patients.
- Each vial contains 100 test strips
- The shelf life is between 12-24, however once opened they should be used within 3 months (or until expiry date).
